The strongest stock of S&P; 500 on Dec 31st is called 'Cliffs'. Yes, seriously.

It seems like the most incredible coincidence, right?

But it's true. Cliffs Natural Resources (CLF) was the strongest performer of all 500 stocks that makes out the S&P; 500 index, on the eve of the Fiscal Cliff.

On a fairly flat day, the stock was up 5.34%.
