It's not that long ago.
The moment I realized Twitter was for real. It was sometime in April 2011, when I understood how much unknown parts of finance I could uncover just by following the correct guys.
About two years later we're at the point that Twitterfinance is rached some kind of point in which it was really matters.
And whenever things matter, you gotta put it throught the Sopranos grinder.
So... Without any further ado. The twittereconomicsaphere (yeah, I couldn't come up with a name):
@Pawelmorski — Tony Soprano: The Godfather. I know him personally and I wish you'd do the same. He's a supremely bright, streetsmart, well read guy. He's the real deal. No one knows what's going on more than him. He's the capo di tutti capi.
@Katie_Martin_FX — Carmela Soprano: There could be only one. Katie is the natural Carmela. She's the ultimate strong woman controlling everything - yet no one is aware.
@TheStalwart — Christopher Moltisanti: He's the guy willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done. No one works harder than Joe (and Chris) and it shows in his stream. His blood, sweat and whatever other bodily secretions is in his stream. Also; he gets up before anyone else in the world.
@ReformedBroker — Jennifer Melfi, M.D: Much like Melfi, Josh has a complete overview over what is going on at all times. Josh is the hardest working and one of the smartest guys on Twitter.
@jimcramer — Corrado "Junior" Soprano, Jr: Someone's gotta be be June.
@jamesvonsimson — Sal "Big Pussy" Bonpensiero: Like Big Pus, James is a supremely great guy. If we disregard the whole wiretap thing, BIg Pus had a a awesome life. Also, it's kinda funny casting the poshest guy I've ever met as Big Pussy.
@LorcanRK — Silvio Dante: The guy behind the guy. The guy whispering in the ear of the guy. Lorcan is such a natural for Sil it's hard to describe it. So I won't.
@ritholtz— Paul "Paulie Walnuts" Gualtieri: The hardest role to cast was Paulie. But when I did, it made all the sense in the world. Barry is the real deal. So is Paulie. Match made in heaven.
@DougKass — Anthony Soprano, Jr,: Someone's gotta be AJ. Might as well choose the guy that left Twitter cause he overplayed his cards.
@Kelly_Evans — Meadow Soprano: It's an easy choice. Take the most attractive and brilliant person and cast her as Meadow. Kelly, thass you.
@economistmeg — Adriana La Cerva: Much like Adraiana, Megan is running her own business. Much like Adriana, the whole world is in love with her. Sometimes, it just makes sense.
@maxkeiser — Richie Aprile: I bet Max also has a jacket like that.
@felixsalmon — Janice Soprano Baccalieri: For some reason, Felix is the perfect Janice. Don't ask me why. He just is.
@zerohedge — Livia Soprano: Much live Livia, the life of the 0hedge portfolio will be shortlived. (yes, that is a sort of composite of how the real Daniel Ivandjiiski probably looks like, based on his dad up there in the picture)
@FGoria — Furio Giunta: Can there be anyone else? Awesome Italian guy.
@marketplunger — Ralph Cifaretto: A joker. The guy kind. Nothing but love for him.
@MatinaStevis — Charmaine Bucco: Much like Charmaine, Matina is always right and always sensible.
@howardlindzon — John "Johnny Sack" Sacramoni: The guy running the whole show.
@PIMCO — Vito Spatafore: hehe.
@hblodget — Carmine Lupertazzi, Jr.: Henry is in charge. So is Carmine. Well. Sort of.
@NicTrades — Rosalie Aprile: Sadly there's not enough strong female characters on The Sopranos to cover all the great women in Twitter. But both Nicola and Roalie are strong, beautiful, independent women.
@finansakrobat — Benny Fazio: I love Benny.
@timmyconspiracy — Gabriella Dante: I just love casting Charlie as Sil's wife ;)
@barnejek — Herman "Hesh" Rabkin: The smartest guy on the show. The smartest guy on Twitter.
@carlquintanilla — Jackie Aprile, Jr.: Like most men, I have a non-sexual crush on Carl. Like Jackie Jr, he's got big shoes to fill. Just hope's he'll do better than Jackie.
@FoxonStocks — Gloria Trillo: God, I hate Fox on Stocks.
